Greetings
Mbote! Thank you for visiting KOICA Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Office website. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, also known as the ‘Heart of Africa,’ having overcome scars of the civil war and striving for political stability is seeking ways for sustainable development in competitive and valuable fields through utilizing the growth potential it had not fully enjoyed in the past such as abundant underground resources, water resources, and forest resources worth using and preserving. Complying with international standards, the KOICA office is determined to perform its role as a development cooperation partner and platform for 80 million Congolese and future generations as well as for the promotion of win-win development with neighboring countries of DRC; taking into consideration the regional characteristics of Africa and DRC’s development demands. Moreover, the KOICA Office will take steps closer along with our cooperation partners under active cooperation of DRC so that no one can be left behind, social values be respected and sustainable development be achieved. Thank you, and matondi.
