The Embassy of the Republic of Korea and KOICA Office in Algeria co-hosted ‘2nd Korea-Algeria Alumni Day’ at the Residence of the Republic of Korea Ambassador to Algeria on 25th September 2019. The seminar was held to share training experiences in various fields, to foster friendship between the alumni members and to strengthen relationship between the Republic of Korea and Algeria. Korea-Algeria Alumni Day was followed by the presentation of two alumni members who shared their own experiences, the Korea Photo Contest and SDGs Campaign “Stand Together for One World”.

The seminar was attended by Mr. Lee Eun Yong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Algeria and Embassy officials; KOICA Algeria Office Director Mrs. Lee Yooli and staffs; 70 alumni who attended KOICA, GKS(Global Korea Scholarship), and KF(Korea Foundation) sponsored programs. Even though the seminar was held on weekday afternoon, many alumni members attended and expressed interest in it. Most of alumni members work for the government and are expected to help strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Algeria through cultural and social exchanges such as this seminar.
