[Tanzania] Lending Hands to Street Children

ㅇ Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

 

Overview

Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA), in collaboration with Hands on Science Organization Tanzania(HSOT), Tanzania Rural Health Movement and Mwanza Regional Library, is implementing vocational education project to 138 street children in Mwanza City, Tanzania.

- According to Mr. Joonsung Park, the country director of KOICA Tanzania Office, KOICA Street Children Programs aim to create ability to street children to sustain themselves by sending KOICA volunteers for science, library, computer and sewing as vocational skills.

- By granting 3,000 dollars for the purchase of science materials and sewing machines, KOICA supports to impart skills and open ways to children for the better future.
