[Nigeria] Nigerian Judges Receive Judicial Development Training

Overview:

ㅇ KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency) Nigeria Office sponsors a two-week training on ‘High Level Partnership Programme for Judicial Development’ since October 15 at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Seoul.

- Fifteen judicial officers, including seven Chief Judges, from the Independent National Electoral Commission(INCE) are currently undergoing training programme for the improvement of electoral laws and system.

- Since April 2008, KOICA has trained nearly 1,500 Nigerian government officials from various ministries at leading Korean institutions. KOICA runs long-term(scholarship) and short-term(2-3 weeks) courses which are strategically designed to contribute to the lasting development of Nigeria.
