KOICA Holds Local Capacity Building Training on
‘Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis and Treatment’
Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA) held a local capacity building training on ‘Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis and Treatment’ for five days since August 20 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
After Bangladesh recognized the danger of autism on child development, the Bangladesh Government and its related agencies have developed various curriculum to cure autism and ways to detect autistic patients.
Since 2012, KOICA has supported capacity building training on autism spectrum disorder diagnosis and treatment in order to contribute to better autism treatment in Bangladesh. At this training, KOICA aims to strengthen practical capacity of human resources working in the field of autism by developing the manual on autism spectrum disorder diagnosis and treatment in general.
