Korea International Cooperation Agenc (KOICA) Mozambique Office held a year-end meeting of the MOZKOICA, which is the alumni association of Mozambique public officials who participated in the KOICA Fellowship Program in the international conference hall located in Maputo, Mozambique.
The meeting aimed to share this year’s positive outcomes of MOZKOICA and to strengthen the cohesiveness of alumni members and of the Korean society in Mozambique.
* MOZKOICA : Created in November of 2015 as a nonprofit organization with the legal, administrative and financial status. Aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Mozambique and Korea and to develop a platform whereby participants from different training programs supported by KOICA consolidate ties. As of November, 2017, 400 members are included.
At the event, the Korean Ambassador to Mozambique Heung-soo Kim, the Director of Asia-Oceania in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mozambique Malate, and 50 more Mozambican officials attended.
Various events such as the activity plan for 2018, the announcement of the most memorable moments during the training in Korea and the donation ceremony to support the disadvantaged children were included.
