KOICA (a government agency responsible for grant) conducts invitational training
programs to share development experience on advancing human resources for 15
Vietnamese government officials including Le Quoc Ly (Vice President of Ho Chi
Minh National Academy of Politics), Trinh Ngoc Thach (Vice Chairman of Committee
for Education, Culture, Youth, Children, National Assembly of Vietnam), and
Thai Quang Toan (Director of Organization and Workforce Department, Ministry
of Home Affairs) on June 4 - 11.
Special lectures on the development experience of Korea, national human resources
development, and, etc will be held as training program of “DEEP(Development
Experience Exchange Partnership) program for the Vision of Vietnam”.
Trainees will also visit National Human Resources Development Institute,
KEPCO Human Resources Development Institute, Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy
& Innovation and meet with the Vietnamese ambassador to Korea.
KOICA will conduct joint research program on public HR strategies, public
reform, and building market economy system for three years through this ‘DEEP
program for the Vision of Vietnam’, as well as advise policies to establish
the vision of Vietnam.
It is expected that this training program will contribute to the sustainable
partnership and development between Korea and Vietnam by sharing Korea’s experience
and know-how on public HR to the officials of the Vietnamese government.
