KOICA, Conducting an Invitation Training on Capacity Building- Automation of Flood Early Warning System for Disaster Mitigation- for public officials from the Philippines

 

KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency), in collaboration with two Korean companies, Dongbu Engineering and TOCONET(Total Communication Network), conducted the 1st invitation training on the “Automation of Flood Early Warning System for Disaster Mitigation in Greater Metro Manila” for PAGASA(Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) Deputy Director Davis Catalino and 9 other public officials.

The training lasted from May 7th to 13th for about a week, aiming to develop an effective flood warning system to minimize the frequent flood damages occurring at Metro Manila, Philippines.
