KOICA CTS Program Partner ‘Enuma’ Reaches the Finals
for ‘Global Learning XPRIZE’
In support of the KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency)’s CTS Program, ‘Enuma’. a start-up company devoted to helping children through accessible learning applications called Kitkit School, was announced as one of five finalists in the Global Learning XPRIZE competition.

One of the world’s largest non-profit venture foundations, XPRIZE Foundation, has held the Global Learning XPRIZE since 2014 to eradicate children’s illiteracy among the world. Participated by 198 teams this year, the competition announced 5 finalists and granted roughly $1 million(1.1 billion won) to each team. At the end, the final team will receive $10 million(170 billion won) through the announcement in April 2019.
“Enuma and KOICA will strive to improve the children’s basic academic skills in cooperation with UN WFP(World Food Program), UNESCO, and the Tanzania Government,” said Sooinn Lee, CEO of Enuma. She then added, “I hope today’s outcome will raise sustainability of companies belong to the CTS Program and will be a great opportunity to help socio-economic development of partner developing countries.
