KOICA Holds Orientation Session
for 2018 Public-Private Partnership Program Candidates
KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency), a government-funded agency in charge of providing grant aid programs, held an orientation session for companies selected as possible candidates for 2018 Public-Private Partnership on October 25 at the KOICA headquarters.
A total of 43 possible projects were selected this year. After the orientation, companies will establish detailed action plans and undertake new projects in various sectors such as education, agriculture and health in developing countries.
The cooperation between KOICA and private sector partners dates back to 1995. Since then, KOICA has expanded and strengthened the scope of the cooperation by engaging with diverse development actors including CSOs(Civil Society Organizations), universities, research institutes and businesses to fight against extreme poverty and promote better living standards for people in developing countries.
