Yes. To understand the volunteers grasp of the English language, a written English exam comparable to the TOEIC exam is given. Starting this year, a KOV applicant may be exempt from taking the English exam if he/she submits a valid TOEIC, TOEFL, or TEPS score received within the past two years.
