The information telecommunications environment has rapidly changed due to development of advanced IT technologies. The IT industry has also experienced in recent years problems such as the wilful defacement of web sites, theft of credit card information, increasingly sophisticated hacking tools, and damaging viruses and worms. Cyber security for IT systems is, therefore, one of the most important issues in the modern information telecommunications business field.
This course consists of Professional Components such as lectures, practical training, discussion, country report presentation and study visits etc. It will allow participants to gain specialized knowledge about state-of-the-art security technologies and discuss on-going IT project issues.
This training course is designed to inform participants about global security development trends and to improve their skills in developing security policy for IT technology management-related fields. Through this course, participants will understand IT security technology in Korea as well as in the world.
