KOICA conducts a training program "e-Government (Morocco)" for 15 participants from Morocco as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2007 as follows:
o Course Title : e-Government (Morocco)
o Duration : July 19 - August 3, 2007 (16 days)
o Venue : Seoul, Korea
o Number of Participants : 15 Participants from Morocco
o Training Institution : Global e-Policy e-Government Institute, Sungkyunkwan University
o Beneficiaries : Professors and Government Officials, Engineers with sound experience in the public policy, Public Administration or related to IT Field
o Course Objectives
- To provide Moroccan university professors and decision makers with the basic abilities needed to assume the advisory role for the national as well as local level, and CIO in the Organization.
- to make plans for e-transformation of their organization.
- to provide national e-policy and e-strategies, management skills in the digital era, the ideas and concepts of e-government, National Information, and other aspects essential to launch e-transformation by intensive training.
o The program consists of 3 parts ;
A. LECTURES
- General Introduction: Theory and Practice of e-Policy & e-Government
- Converging e-Democracy and e-Government Model toward Evolutionary Model of e-Governance: The case of south Korea
- Governance in the information Age: Changes, Challenges, and Opportunities
- E-Governance and Regional Development in Guro District of Seoul
B. COUNTRY REPORT PRESENTATION on "General statistics and information on the national/regional and community level or specific study fields regarding major concern of participants"
C. STUDY VISITS, FIELD TRIP & CULTURAL EXCURSION
- Practice in Samsung Electronics, U-dream hall, INNOvision, SK PR Hall, etc.
- Namdaemoom Market, Gyeongbok Palace, N Seoul Tower, Nanta Performance, etc.
