KOICA conducts a training program "Public Sector Management for High Level Officials, Myanmar" for 24 participants from Myanmar as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

o Course Title : Public Sector Management for High Level Officials, Myanmar

o Duration : March 11 - March 27, 2010 (16 days)

o Venue : Seongnam and Gacheon city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 24 Participants

o Training Institution : Central Officials Training Institute(COTI)

o Training Participants

- National or Local government officials, preferably senior level government officials
  who are in the field of public administration

o Course Objectives

- To pursue common prosperity for Myanmar and Korea through a sharing of bilateral
   development experiences,

- To share Korea national development experiences and Korea's policies and strategies
   for socio-economic development

- To foster cooperative relationships and exchange activites between Myanmar and Korea  

o The program consists of 2 parts ;

1. Reform measures and strategies of the Korean government

2. Major development policies during the take-off period in Korea

3. Territorial development strategies in Korea

4. Sources of Korea's industrial development

5. E-government in Korea and Green IT

6. Rural development : focus on Saemaul-undong
