Environmental Management (Vietnam)

KOICA conducts a training program "Environmental Management(Vietnam)" for 15 participants from Vietnam as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

¤· Course Title: Environmental Management (Vietnam)

¤· Duration: 2010. 3. 21(Sun.) ~ 4. 10(Sat.) (21 days)

¤· Venue: Incheon & Seongnam, Korea

¤· Training Institution: K eco (Korea Environment Corporation)

¤· Number of Participants and Countries: 15 participants from Vietnam

¤· Training Participants:

- National or local government officials with sound experience in the environmental

   management related field

¤· Course Objectives:

- To introduce the concept of low carbon green growth and to develop the ideas to promote

- To introduce the Korean environmental management policies and technologies for Vietnam

- To support the establishment of environmental management strategies for Vietnam

 

 o The program consists of 3 parts;

A. LECTURES

- Sustainable development

- Air, water & soil Management

- Waste Management & Resource Recirculation Policies

- Environment Impact Assessment
 

B. STUDY VISITS

- Nanji Sewage Treatment Center

- SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management Corporation

- Kangnam Resource Recovery Plant

- Association of Electronics Environment

- Busan Station
 

C. Field Trip

- Hyundai Motors, SK Energy, Busan Cultural Sites, Kyeongju Historical Sites
