Public Sector Management for High-level Officials(Paraguay)

KOICA conducts a training program "Public Sector Management for High-level Officials(Paraguay)" for 12 participants from Paraguay as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Public Sector Management for High-level Officials(Paraguay)

o Duration : March 25 - April 3, 2010 (10 days)

o Venues : Seongnam and Gwacheon city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 12 Participants from Paraguay

o Training Institution : Central Officials Training Institute (COTI)

o Training Participants

- National or local government officials, preferably senior level government officials who are in

  the field of public administration

 

o Course Objectives

- To pursue common prosperity for Paraguay and Korea through a sharing of bilateral

   development experiences,

- To share Korean national development experiences and Korea's policies and strategies

   for socio-economic development

- To foster cooperative relationships and exchange activities between Paraguay and Korea

 

o The program consists of 2 parts ;

 

A. LECTURES

1. Introduction to COTI & HRD Strategies for the Korean Civil Service

2. Reform Measures & Strategies of the Korean Government

3. Major Development Policies during the Take-off Period (1961-79) in Korea

4. Sources of Korea's Industrial Development

5. Territorial Development Strategies in Korea

 

B. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

- Seocho-gu District Office, Saemaul-undong Central Training Institute

- Hyundai Motors Co.

- Gyeongbok Palace, N-Seoul Tower, Cheongwadae Sarangchae Exhibition & Museum, etc.
