KOICA conducts a training program "Road Maintenance & Transportation Technology (Iraq)" for 19 participants from Iraq as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Road Maintenance & Transportation Technology (Iraq)

o Duration : April 1 - April 17, 2010 (17 days)

o Venue : Seongnam, Korea

o Number of Participants : 19 Participants from Iraq

o Training Institution : Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC)

 

o Training Participants

- Incumbent public officials in the field of criminal justice

 

o Course Objectives

- To foster road and traffic specialists by experiencing the advanced knowledge and

   technology of Korea

- To contribute to the progress of Iraq in the road sector through human resource development

- To boost mutual understanding and cooperation between Korea and Iraq

B. COUNTRY REPORT PRESENTATION on

- Analysis on differences between Iraq and Korea in road transport environment

 

C. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

- Traffic Information Center, Seoul Toll Office, the Supreme Court, Sudokweon

  Construction Site, etc

- Incheon Bridge, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, Hyundai Motors, Advanced

  Science & Technology Center

- N-Seoul Tower, Gyeongbok Palace, etc.
