Police Administration Improvement (Sri Lanka)

KOICA conducts a training program "Police Administration Improvement (Sri Lanka)" for 24 participants from 16 countries as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Police Administration Improvement (Sri Lanka)

o Duration : April 18 - May 1, 2010 (14 days)

o Venue : Yong-in city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 13 Participants from Sri Lanka

o Training Institution : Korea National Police University

o Training Participants

- Be Police Officers (above the Senior Inspector or Major the rank of the leader should be

   more than Superintendent General or Brigadier General)  

o Course Objectives

- To share the experience of Korean National Police

- To give inspiration to the participants for developing police administration

 

o The program consists of 3 parts ;

 

A. LECTURES

1. Introduction of Police in Korea

2. Korean National Police Agency

3. Investigation

4. Public Security

5. Traffic Enforcement

 

B. COUNTRY REPORT PRESENTATION on

a) General present condition of police

b) Present condition of police education organization

 

C. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

- National Police Agency (NPA), Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA), Police

  Crime Lab in Forensic Investigation Division, National Institute of Science Investigation,

  Cyber Terror Response Center

- Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Motors Co.

- Worldcup stadium, N-Seoul Tower, Gyeongbok Palace, etc.
