KOICA conducts a training program ¡°Agricultural Community Leadership Development" for 17 participants from 10 countries as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

o Course Title : Agricultural Community Leadership Development

o Duration : April 29 - July 24, 2010 (87 days)

o Venue : Wonju city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 17 Participants from 10 countries

  - Angola 2, Cambodia 2, Cote d'lvorie, Ethiopia 2, Ghana 1, Guatemala 2, Kenya 2, Laos 2,

     Nigeria 2

o Training Institution : Canaan Farmers School

o Training Participants

 - Mid-level or filed-director level government officials, local community leaders,

   and NGO staffs

o Course Objectives

- To learn and understand mind-set movement which is the fundamental foundation for the

   development of Korean society in the 70s and 80s  

- To learn a lifestyle in which the spirit of diligence, thrift, and sharing is fused together

- To practice and environment-friendly organic farming

- To learn about education in three domains : mind-set training, life style & practical education,

  theoretical education

o The program consists of 3 parts ;
