Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points

KOICA conducts a training program ¡°Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points " for 17 participants from 10 countries as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points

o Duration : May 13 - May 29, 2010 (17 days)

o Venue : Seoul, Korea

o Number of Participants : 10 Participants from China

o Training Institution : Korea Health Industry Development Institute

o Training Participants

 - Government officials or engineers with experience in the HACCP system related field  

 

o Course Objectives

 - To introduce the operation and food safety policy of Korea's HACCP system

 - To instruct them in standards and management methods related to HACCP

 - To improve the quality of food hygiene in China and to Promote international trade

    in the food industry

 - To build up bilateral cooperation networks between Korea and China in the field of

    food hygiene

 

o The program consists of 3 parts ;

 

A. LECTURES

- Introduction of food safety bureau

- Import food safety policy in Korea

- Introduction of food safety evaluation department

- Food risk assessment applied in Risk management

- Administrative management of genetically modified food in Korea

 

B. STUDY VISITS & 3-DAY FIELD TRIP

- Korea food & druf administration

- Sempio Co., Ltd.

- Daesang FNF

- Nongshim Research Institute

 

C. CULTURAL EXCURSION

- Cultural sights in Seoul and Gyeongju

- Home-visiting

- POSCO

- Samsung Co,, Ltd.
