KOICA conducts a training program "Trainer¡¯s Training for the IT Vocational Training Center of An Najah National University(Palestine)" for 20 participants from Palestine as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Trainer¡¯s Training for the IT Vocational Training Center of An Najah National

   University(Palestine)

o Duration : June 27 - July 27, 2010 (31 days)

o Venue : Cheon-an & Seongnam, Korea

o Number of Participants : 20 Participants from Palestine

o Training Institution : TTI (Technology Transfer Institute) in KUT (Korea University of

   Technology and Education)

 

o Training Participants

- Instructors for the IT Vocational Training Center of An Najah National University

 

o Course Objectives

- To upgrade instructor's capability through the transfer of advanced IT and network technology

   of Korea

- To cultivate instructor's capability of center management and operation and to vitalize

   Korea-Palestine IT vocational training center

- To accomplish core role of education system renovation through enhancement of instructor's

   IT application capability

 

 

o The program consists of 3 parts ;

1. General Courses

2. Network Technology

3. Internet Security Technology

4. PHP Web Programming

5. Web 2.0 Technology

6. Virtual Reality Technology

7. Embeded System Technology

 

B. COUNTRY REPORT PRESENTATION on

a) Status of IT in the home country Palestine

b) Government interventions in IT

 

C. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

- Samsung Electronics, HRDI in KUT, Gumi Ubiquitous Hall, Electronics & Telecommunications

   Research Institute, etc

- POSCO, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Motors Co.

- N-Seoul Tower, Gyeongbok Palace, National Folk Museum, Home Visiting etc.
