xKOICA conducts a training program "Management System of Gene-bank for ASEAN Countries" for 17 participants from 8 countries as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

- National or local government officials, (preferably middle manager), engaged in the field

- To provide the participants with practical knowledge and methodology on integrated

   gene-bank management

- To build the capacity for the participants in analyzing and formulating sustainable

   germplasm management
