ICT and e-Government for Cote d'Ivoire

KOICA conducts a training program "ICT and e-Government for Cote d'Ivoire" for 16 participants from Cote d'Ivoire as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : ICT and e-Government for Cote d'Ivoire

o Duration : July 18 - August 7, 2010 (21 days)

o Venue : Seongnam & Seoul city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 16 Participants from Cote d'Ivoire

 

o Training Institution : Kookmin Institute for Strategic governance (KISG)

 

o Training Participants

- Government officials or experts with sound experience in the field of e-Government system

 

o Course Objectives

 - To share Korea's experiences of developing e-Government

 - To improve skills and abilities in making efficient government

 - To learn about new trends of government services and guideline for developing

    e-Government

 

o The program consists of 3 parts ;

 

A. LECTURES

1. Overview of Korea's Economic Development

2. Overview of Korean ICT & e-Government Policy

3. Practice of e-Government each part of Government

4. The future of e-Government, etc.

 

B. COUNTRY REPORT PRESENTATION on

a) Operation status and action plan of your e-Government system

b) Vision including future gloal e-Government strategies

 

C. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

 - Digital Pavilion, SBS, DMZ, Panmunjeom, etc.

  - POSCO, Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority, etc.

  - Insadong, N-Seoul Tower, Gyeongbok Palace, Non-verbal performance "JUMP", etc.
