KOICA conducts a training program "Health Policy Planning" for 18 participants from 9 countries as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

 

o Course Title : Health Policy Planning

o Duration : July 18 - July 7, 2010 (21 days)

o Venue : Seoul and Seongnam, Korea

o Number of Participants : 18 Participants from 9 countries

 - Ecuador 2, Ghana 2, Guatemala 2, Kazakhstan 3, Kyrgyzstan 1, Nigeria 2,

   Paraguay 3, Tanzania 2, Ukraine 1

o Training Institution : Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health

   and Welfare (KHRDI)

 

o Training Participants

- Government official or Professional engaged in establishing or running the health

   policy planning

 

o Course Objectives

- To nurture specialists with technical and politic knowledge in making health policy

    based on healthcare statistics

- To nurture health policy planning and operation specialist in participating countries by

   sharing experience of national health policy planning and operation between the

   national and local governments

13. Health policy for students of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology

14. Health policy for workers of Ministry of Labor

15. Korean Reproductive Health and Family Planning

16. National TB Control Program

17. Introduction of Public Health Center Function  & District Health Service Plan

18. Rural Development and New Village Movement (SAE MAUL UNDONG) in Korea   

19. National Health Screening
