KOICA conducts a training program ¡°Housing & Urban Policy(Vietnam)" for 13 participants from Vietnam as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2010 as follows:

o Course Title : Housing & Urban Policy(Vietnam)

o Duration : August 26 - September 11, 2010 (17 days)

o Venue : Sungnam, Korea

o Number of Participants : 13 Participants from Vietnam   

o Training Institution : LH Corporatioin

o Training Participants

 -  Government officials in the mid-senior level or higher in this field

o Course Objectives

 -  To provide overall knowledge about the national land and housing management policy

     in Korea in order for the participants and the government officials to use the  

     information to establish their own housing and urban policy, thus to overcome their  

     domestic concerns.

-  To make the participants have more opportunity to understand the issues on housing      

    areas in order to enhance professional experience.

o The program consists of 3 parts ;

A. LECTURES

 - GIS for natioanl information

 - Korean Economic Development

 - The General perspective of land policy

 - Housing policy in Korea

 - Housing welfare for the low income class

B. STUDY VISITS & 3-DAY FIELD TRIP

  - New Towns(Bundang, Pankyo) Construction field

  - Bogeumjari Housing of LH

  - Gwanggyo New premium City

  - Digital National Expo   

C. CULTURAL EXCURSION

 - Cultural sights in Seoul, Gyeongju city

 - Home Visiting

 - POSCO, Hyundai Motors and Heavy Industries
