KOICA conducts a training program "Public Institution Management and Assessment Method (Vietnam)" for 16 participants from Vietnam as part of the Korean government's grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2012 as follows:

o Course Title : Public Institution Management and Assessment Method (Vietnam)

o Duration : August 5 - August 11, 2012 (7 days)

o Venue : Seongnam and Seoul city, Korea

o Number of Participants : 16 Participants from Vietnam

 - Vietnam 16

o Training Institution : Korea Institute of Public Finance

o Training Participants

- Government officials who are in charge of state-owned enterprises in Vietnam and bureau

  directors and the above

o Course Objectives

- To establish the institutional basis for SOE management in Vietnam and foster a friendly

   atmosphere between the two nations by providing a training course on the management of

   SOEs for Vietnamese government officials

- To provide useful insight and guideline for high-level officials from Vietnam on the role of

   public institutions in Korea in its economic development.

o The program consists of 2 parts ;

A. LECTURES

1. General overview of public institutions in Korea

2. Management system of public institutions in Korea¡¡

B. STUDY VISITS & CULTURAL EXCURSION

- Korea Expressway Corporation , Korea Railroad Corporation etc.

- Korea National Oil Corporation, KNOC_Natural Gas Resources Exploitation Site in the

  East Sea, SK Energy_Ulsan Complex

- Sarangchae at Cheongwadae, Cheong Gye Cheon Museum, Insadong etc.
