Korea International Cooperation Agency[KOICA], a government agency under the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Korean Government, responsible for
the implementation of grant ODA programs (Project of Building a general
hospital in the central region of Vietnam), now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the construction indicated as follows:

5. Qualification
for the Bid Participation
¨ç All bidders [Korean or
non-Korean bidders] who desire to participate in KOICA's bidding
for the supply
of goods and services are required to register with the KOICA Procurement
Team.
¡Ø Registration must be
completed at least four(4) or five(5) business days prior to the bid
opening
date.
¡Ø Eligible Tenderer: any
firms from any country
¨è All bidders should have
comprehensive licenses for the building industry
¨é All bidders should hold
accomplishment of building completion of at least one structure
over 11million
USD during the past 10 years
¨ê Joint bids shall
be accepted.

8. Bid Bond and
Its Irrevocability
In accordance with KOICA's relevant
regulations, a bidder and/or supplier shall establish
a bid bond in favor of
KOICA, for an amount of five(5) percent of the total bid, in the form of
irrevocable clean credit, bank guarantee, cash or certified check payable in
the currency of
the bid with a bank or insurance company. In the case of bidders
who have made contracts
with KOICA within two(2) years and governmental
organizations, submission of the bid bond
may be substituted by a Memorandum of
Payment. In the event that successful bidders do
not make a contract, the above
bid bond shall automatically and be unconditionally forfeited
without recourse.
9. Invalid Bids
Bids shall be deemed as null and void in
cases of Clause 37 of KOICA's relevant regulation.
10. Officials Not
to Benefit
No officer,
employee or other official of KOICA shall be admitted to any share or part of
the
contract or to any benefit that might arise there from.
11. Others
¨ç The bidder is expected to
examine all instructions, forms, terms and specifications in
the bidding
documents. Failure to furnish all information required by the bidding documents
or submission of a bid not substantially responsive to the bidding documents in
every
respect shall be at the bidder's risk and may result in the rejection of
the bid.
