The
Government of the Republic of Korea, as part of its humanitarian assistance,
provided the Government of the Nepal (Prime Minister's Relief Fund) with Rs.
2.1 Million to assist the latter's efforts to alleviate the hardship of the recent
flood victims of Nepal.
The
Korean ambassador to Nepal, Nam Sang-jung, handed over the said amount to Foreign
Minister Upendra Yadav, a press release of the KOICA Nepal office said.
The
ambassador sincerely hoped that, although the amount of fund is modest, it would
offer meaningful support to those affected by the disaster.
