The Government of the Republic of Korea, as part of its humanitarian assistance, provided the Government of the Nepal (Prime Minister's Relief Fund) with Rs. 2.1 Million to assist the latter's efforts to alleviate the hardship of the recent flood victims of Nepal.

The Korean ambassador to Nepal, Nam Sang-jung, handed over the said amount to Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav, a press release of the KOICA Nepal office said.

The ambassador sincerely hoped that, although the amount of fund is modest, it would offer meaningful support to those affected by the disaster.
