KOICA receives project proposals(project concept papers) two years earlier from Ghanaian MDAs. For instance, proposals for consideration for a 2022 project must be received by KOICA in 2020. This is to secure enough time for assessments and feasibility surveys before project design and formulation. The following processes could be followed in submitting proposals(concept papers) for KOICA’s funding consideration under its Bilateral Cooperation Projects:
KOICA Ghana office invites the related MDAs of Ghana to call for proposal with official letter.
Project Concept Paper (PCP) form and Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the priority cooperation sector are attached.
These forms are available upon formal request to KOICA Ghana Office.
Ghanaian MDAs are to complete the PCP form together with all relevant documents as requested in the PCP template.
The completed PCP form must be submitted through Ministry of Finance, Ghana, to KOICA Ghana Office. Ministry of Finance’s cover letter must be addressed to the Country Director of KOICA Ghana Office.
KOICA Ghana may contact the requesting organization for any further revisions of the documents.
