Welcome to the website of KOICA Guatemala Office. Guatemala is constantly going through a low-growth trend due to, for example, the global economic recession since 2000, it has continued to score an average growth of more than 3% since 2004, buoyed by FTA signed with the United States, recovery of bonded processing industry, and reflation measures.Based on the population of 17 million people and the greatest economic power in Central America, it conducts a leading role in growth of the region. Since the opening in 2005, our office has been supporting reinforcement of the Guatemalan government's competency through 19 projects and invitation training of 829 public officials. We thank you once again for visiting our website and will strive for this website to sufficiently provide useful information as a channel that expedites exchanges and cooperation in Guatemala.Thank you.
