The project for establishment of Multimedia Language Labs was launched in 2013, which was based on the Record of Discussion(R/D)signed between KOICA and four governmental partners in line with Iraqi Governmental Plan (Learning Foreign Languages) and the Nationa Development Plan (NDP/2013~2017). The project started with 22 labs and KOICA has supported 4 additional labs to Iraqi Institutions within the budget of the project. It mainly aims at helping Iraqi people step up the level of foreign language proficiency through providing with lingual equipment and devices in the unversities and governmental agencies.

The project for “Organizational Capacity Building for Critical Care Services in the Medical City”was initiated as practical reflection of Iraqi National Development Plan (NDP/2013~2017) Provision of the advanced technology (Hardware & Software) in critical care services aims at leveling-up the medical services for the Iraqi citizens. The necessity for this project is considered as a high priority due to the instability of the security conditions (Terrorism–ISIS), poor health services in Iraq.

The Project for the Energy Efficiency Improvement in Electric Distribution and Pilot AMR/Billing System in Iraq was initiated as a pilot project after signing the Record of Discussion between the Ministry of Electricity and KOICA Iraq Office in 2013 in line with the National Development Plan(NDP/2013~2017). Provision of the advanced technology (hardware and software) is expected to level-up the electric services for the Iraqi citizens in Baghdad.
