How to applyfor Project and Development Consulting Program
The KOICA Kenya Office welcomes that you are taking into consideration Korea as a possible bilateral cooperation partner country for the sustainable socio-economic development of Kenya.
To better serve your needs and request, we would like to encourage you to take the following steps when you wish to request project and development consulting program (DEEP) to KOICA Kenya Office.
Please note that the project proposals (project concept paper) should be submitted two years earlier before the target implementation period in order to secure enough time for assessments, feasibility surveys, project designing and formulation. Once funding proposal is approved, project and development consulting program (DEEP) are implemented over 2 to 5 years.
Step 1 Identify what you need
Step 2 Design the project work scope
Step 3 Submit your project proposal
Step 1.
Identify what you need
The Kenya line ministries and agencies need to review their own development projects and their priorities and identify the specific projects by themselves.
Step 2.
Design the project work scope
If specific projects are chosen, the Kenya line ministries and agencies are required to make the proposal including the budget scale, work scope, etc. in consultation with the KOICA Kenya Office on the Project Concept Paper. Please fill out the form, providing as much information as possible to let us have a better understanding of your needs and request.
Please deliver the above mentioned form to KOICA Kenya Office through the official and diplomatic channels. Since we provide our cooperation projects on the basis of government’s request, the Kenya line ministries and agencies are kindly advised to deliver your request form to KOICA Kenya Office via Ministry of health. This procedure is to respect the Kenya government’s role in assuming ownership and coordinating the development cooperation projects carried out in its territory. Your request is initially reviewed at KOICA Kenya Office and transferred to KOICA headquarter for further study on the appropriateness of projects.
