Process of Requesting Training Program

1. Request for Country-Focused Training Program:

Country-focused training program is a 3-year consecutive training program provided by CIAT program, reflecting the demand and reality of a specific partner country.

The Request for Country-Focused Training Program Procedure:

01 Download the Request form for the training
02 Fill up the request form
03 Submit the request form to KOICA Cambodia Office

04 The request form will be initially reviewed by KOICA Cambodia Office.
05 KOICA Headquarters will conduct a feasibility study for further reviewing of the submitted request form, if necessary.
06 In case the request for training is approved after feasibility study, proceed to the Training Application Procedure.

2. Request for Global Training Program (Multi-country Program):

Global training program is a policy and technical capacity building program provided by CIAT program, inviting participants from multiple countries.

The Request for Global Training Program Procedure:

01 KOICA CIAT Program priority list is sent to CDC annually to coordinate all ministries to undertake demand survey.
02 The related ministries need to select their priority courses from the list (Group A) and request additional courses (Group B).
03 The ministries submit the demand survey(both Group A and Group B) back to CDC.

04 The demand survey is submitted to KOICA Cambodia Office by CDC for initial review.
05 The demand survey is then submitted to KOICA Headquarters for final approval.
06 After final approval, proceed to the Training Application Procedure.

3. Procedures of Scholarship Program:

Scholarship Program is designed to nurture potential talents in recipient countries who are expected to contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries by offering them an opportunity to obtain a master's degree. It is opened only for the Cambodian government officials or the staff of public institutions, who has a bachelor's degree.

	Nomination Request	KOICA Cambodia Office sends the letter of announcement to the relevant ministries/institutions. Information of scholarship program is uploaded on KOICA Cambodia Office website(www.koicacambodia.org). The documents include application forms of KOICA and university, course information, application procedure and other relevant documents.
	Application	Applicants submit their application packages to KOICA Cambodia Office.

Nomination Process	On-site Interview	An on-site interview is conducted at KOICA Cambodia Office.
	Document Screening	KOICA Cambodia Office screen applicants based on the results of the on-site interview. Universities conduct document screening.
	Phone Interview	Universities conduct a second-round interview according to the interview schedule.

After Nomination	Medical Check-up	Applicants who successfully pass the second-round must take the medical check-up at the designated health institution.
	Admission Notification	Admission results will be notified to KOICA Cambodia Office. KOICA Cambodia Office informs the participants of the results and their scheduled entry to Korea.
	Pre-departure Orientation	KOICA Cambodia Office conducts a pre-departure orientation to the successful candidates.
