In 2009, the Korean government launched a unified brand, World Friends Korea (hereinafter WFK), by integrating different overseas volunteer programs that were being carried out by each department. KOICA is cooperating with each implementing agency as an overseeing agency for WFK overseas volunteer programs. The WFK Overseas Volunteer programs organize and operate various activities according to the specific goals of the implementing agency. Participants can select programs that meet their individual capabilities and expertise.
