KOICA Office in Lao PDR

KOICA Office in Lao PDR conducted Global Fellowship Program on "Capacity Building Program for Public Administration Reform for Lao Government" to 19 officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs in Vientiane City from 8th to 14th June.

This is the last course of a three-year course that has been in force since 2020. In this year, it shared the best practices of local administration and regional development of Republic of Korea. The trainees themselves analyzed the current system with Korean experts and devised the strategy for implementation.

‘KOICA hopes that all trainees apply what they have learned from this course in their works and have a positive impact on public administration reform for Lao government.’ Myungjin KIM-Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency remarked.
