On October 21, the FInal Report Meeting for the Project of "Feasibility Study on Central Backbone Expressways in Myanmar" was successfully held. The project has been implemented since 2018 in order to improve the traffic safety and support the balanced and decentralized national development of Myanmar.
At the meeting, the final reports of the “Feasibility of the Yangon-Mandalay Expressways and Yangon-Nga Yoke Kaung Expressways” were respectively presented by the Korean experts from KyongDong Engineering Co., Ltd and Yooshin Engineering Corporation.
The meeting was attended by H.E. U Han Zaw, Union Minister of the Ministry of Construction, H.E. Mr. Lee Sang-hwa, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar, U Shwe Lay, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Construction, U Aung Myint Oo, Director General of the Department of Highways, Ms. Lee Youn Soo, Chief Representative of KOICA Myanmar Office and other concerned officials.
