How to applyfor Project and Development Consulting Program
The KOICA Paraguay Office welcomes that you are taking into consideration Korea as a possible bilateral cooperation partner country for the sustainable socio-economic development of Paraguay.
To better serve your needs and request, we would like to encourage you to take the following steps when you wish to request project and development consulting program (DEEP) to KOICA Paraguay Office.
Please note that the project proposals (project concept paper) should be submitted two years earlier before the target implementation period in order to secure enough time for assessments, feasibility surveys, project designing and formulation. Once funding proposal is approved, project and development consulting program (DEEP) are implemented over 2 to 5 years.
Step 1 Identify what you need
Step 2 Design the project work scope
Step 3 Submit your project proposal
Step 1.
Identify what you need
The Paraguay line ministries and agencies need to review their own development projects and their priorities and identify the specific projects by themselves.
Step 2.
Design the project work scope
If specific projects are chosen, the Paraguay line ministries and agencies are required to make the proposal including the budget scale, work scope, etc. in consultation with the KOICA Paraguay Office on the Project Concept Paper. Please fill out the form, providing as much information as possible to let us have a better understanding of your needs and request.
Please deliver the above mentioned form to KOICA Paraguay Office through the official and diplomatic channels. Since we provide our cooperation projects on the basis of government’s request, the Paraguay line ministries and agencies are kindly advised to deliver your request form to KOICA Paraguay Office via Teninical Secretariat of Planning. This procedure is to respect the Paraguay government’s role in assuming ownership and coordinating the development cooperation projects carried out in its territory. Your request is initially reviewed at KOICA Paraguay Office and transferred to KOICA headquarter for further study on the appropriateness of projects.
KOICA will support the Paraguay Government to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development as an overarching Goal of its Grant Aid Program as mentioned in the government of the Republic of Korea’s Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for Paraguay with focusing on the 4 following priority areas.
