TIMOR-LESTE

On 29 of August (Thursday), the chairwoman of center for Korean women and politics bong-scuk sohn paid a courtesy visited to KOICA office and offered words of encouragement to volunteers and staffs of KOICA. The purpose of her visiting was for celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Popular Consultation of Timor-Leste. She is a former commissioner, National Election commission and a former International electoral Commissioner for East Timor Popular consultation back in 1999. Bong-scuk sohn had a great time and shared her experience about history of independence of Timor-Leste.
