Kick-off Meeting for <Establishment of enhanced e-Governance Capacity Building through implementation e-Learning based open learning system in Tunisia>

On Friday, March 26, 2021, a first kick-off meeting was held to launch the implementation of the project « Establishment of enhanced e-Governance Capacity Building through implementation of e-Learning based open learning system in Tunisia » that will focus on the online training of public officials, which is being implemented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency. The RoD of the project was signed on November 23, 2020.
Representatives were present from the South Korean side and the Tunisian side, which consisted of KOICA, PMC experts, the National School of Administration, the National School of Finance, the Supreme Judicial Institute, the Center for Training and Support for Decentralization, and the National Media Center, etc.
This meeting dealt with a study of the major and phased directions adopted to implement this project and emphasize its pivotal importance in developing the training system for public servants in their various specializations and their work sites, whether in the central, regional or local administration.
It should be noted that the implementation of the project extends over a period of five (5) years and includes among its components the construction of a studio, a laboratory and a training hall and equipping them with the necessary equipment to develop and record the educational content to suit it with the online training system, as well as developing and setting up the exploitation space for an electronic training platform, and a program to develop the competencies of the executives concerned.
