KOICA’s Agriculture&Rural DevelopmentMid-Term Strategy2021-2025

The socio-economic instability and decline of agro-fishery products derived from climate change make difficulties in securing enough food and money for livelihood in the rural regions of developing countries. KOICA invests in agricultural and rural development as well as the conservation of natural resources and the ecosystem against climate change through the Agriculture & Rural Development Mid-Term Strategy (2021-2025).

    • Support for enhancing the productivity of the agriculture, forestry, and fishery industries
    • Major program:
      Support for agricultural infrastructure and equipment, agricultural capacity building, and marketing
    • Strengthening the value chain of the agriculture, forestry, and fishery industries
    • Major program:
      To foster organizations of farmers, provide agricultural machinery/equipment, build the marketing capacity for agricultural products, and strengthen the agricultural value chain overall
