Overview
Country Program and projects are the core modality of cooperation implmented based on KOICA's sectoral strategy and Country Plan (CP) for each partner country. Through the integrated apporach, KOICA combines various delivery schemes from grant to technical cooperation in order to support the partner countries' development needs.

KOICA launches DEEP (Development Experience Exchange Program), solidifying its development consulting program

Based on a principle of strategic concentration, KOICA targets 58 partner countries (reduced from the previous 127)

Inauguration of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) ※ KOICA was established to incorporate a united agency to coordinate an integrated grant system. - Started projects based on KOICA's business plan portfolio- Refined policies and system by following the expamples of development cooperation agencies abroad- Continued vocational training programs transferred from the Ministry of Labor and grant projects initially implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Support for countries in conflict or vulnerable to conflict
Project to remove the structural and fundamental causes of vulnerability to conflict by supporting the establishment of democratic policies, responding to conflict and violence and restoring peace.
